In order to replace the bios chip on the motherboard, you must disconnect all external peripherals of the pc and the power cable. By doing this, it's possible to avoid electric shocks which can cause the chip to malfunction. flash bios
Next, you must open the pc case, in order to access the internal parts of the computer and identify the bios chip that has to be replaced. flash bios

We advise you to remove all the adapter cards near the bios, to make the removal and replacement operation as easy as possible.
With a DIL or PLCC Extractor (Which can be bought at the Recoverybios web site) or with a flat screwdriver you have to remove the chip from its socket, lifting it first on one side and then on the other. Please be careful in doing this, in order to avoid breaking off the chip pins (Fig. 2a). flash bios
Once you have completed the removal operation, insert the new reprogrammed and flashed chip in the socket. Make sure that the chip you are inserting is the same - and the correct one for the socket (Fig. 3).
We advise you to take particular care when inserting the chip in the socket; by the way, if the chip is not inserted correctly, it could be damaged and cause damage to.
If inserted, the bios chip will seat itself firmly in the motherboard's bios socket. To complete the operation, reinsert the adapter cards you removed, close the pc case and reconnect external peripherals. flash bios
